Department

The Department of Tamil was established in 2022. At present, the department offers language Paper only undergraduate course . The department provides a congenial learning atmosphere with spacious and technically updated classrooms. The department enjoys the special status of being the only department that has contact with every student at the undergraduate level. Since, it is affiliated to Periyar University, Salem, it follows the syllabus pattern of the university. . It also conducts TAMIL SPEAK once in a week to develop the public speaking skill of the students. It also successfully operates VEERAMAMUNIVAR TAMIL PERAVAI to induce the students to write poems.
