The motto of the National Service Scheme (NSS) is "Not Me But You". This reflects the essence of selfless service and the commitment to helping others without expecting anything in return. It emphasizes the concept of "service to others" and highlights the idea that the well-being of others should take precedence over one's own self-interest.

Nationalized Theme of NSS: The theme of NSS is typically aligned with the values of community service, social welfare and youth empowerment. Each year, the theme may vary depending on national priorities and social issues. However, the overarching theme consistently focuses on "Social Service", "Community Development", and "Nation Building".

NSS encourages students to engage in various social activities such as cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, environmental initiatives, health awareness programs, and other services that benefit society. The aim is to foster social responsibility, leadership and civic consciousness among young people.

NSS also encourages students to participate actively in building a better society by offering their time and efforts toward various community-driven activities.
