Loyola College, Mettala, is a minority Catholic Co-Educational Institution, Affiliated to the Periyar University, Salem.
The department of BBA one of the leading departments in the college. It was started in 2017 with 20 students and one staff. The objective of the department is to enrich Marketing knowledge of men and women from the rural background.

1. On 10th August 2023, The Department of Business Administration organized "Fresher's Day - 23-24". Ms. B. Sivarani, B. Sc (Agri),
Founder and CEO of Veerapandy Kalanjia Jeevidam Producer Company Limited, Salem was the resource person. She addressed the opportunities in Agricultural Entrepreneurship to all our BBA students.
In connection to Freshers day 23 - 24, we invited Mr. Esan Karthik, Founder and Managing Director of Unique Decor, Salem. He addressed the gathering about the opportunities in Event Management and motivated our BBA students to join with Unique Decor Events. More than 20 BBA students jointly working with Unique Decor as a part time jobbers, and they are withdrawing Rs. 12000 pm on an average.
2. The Department of Business Administration secured overall championship in 9th Annual Sports Meet on 30th September 2023, held at Loyola College of Arts and Science, Mettala. The students of Department of Business Administration were actively participated in all the events.
3. On 7th October, 2023, our BBA Students participated in Dance Competition at Bharathidasan College, Erode, and won 3rd prize.
4. Our BBA Department Staffs and Students jointly submitted their project proposal to "Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology" on 12.10.2023. Totally 5 projects has been submitted.
5. on 14th October 2023, Mr. K. Pranav of III BBA., Department of Business Administration participated in HR Conclave TANTHRA-24 on HR Transformation Driving Organisational Culture . The HR Conclave highlighting cultivating adaptable, inclusive, growth-oriented cultures through innovative HR Practices.
6. Mr. A. Vijayakumar, Assistant Professor., Department of Business Administration delivered special lecture on Achieving Problem - Solution Fit and Product Market Fit to Business Administration students of KSR College of Arts and Science for Women on 26.12.2023 through online.
7. On August 10, 2023, at Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College in Pollachi, a one-day national symposium on the "Impact of New Education Policy among Future Generation" was sponsored by ICSSR, in which our staff and students attended and gave their presentation.

Mr. A. Vijayakumar, Asst. Prof., Mr. A. Saravanan, Asst. Prof., Mr. G. Lalith Raj, III BBA., Department of Business Administration, Loyola College of Arts and Science, Mettala, published their paper on "Student's Perception towards Outcome Based Education (OBE) with special reference to Namakkal District". Their presentation was highly commented.
8. The National Conference on "Innovation in Business, Computing and Science for Sustainable Development (NCIBCS - 24)" was held on January 5, 2024, at Kalaignar Karunanithi Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. The following staff members and students attended and submitted their papers at this event.

Manobharathi, III BBA., Department of Business Administration, Loyola College of Arts and Science, Mettala, published their paper on "Discripancy among Husband and Wife: An Empirical Study". Their presentation was highly commented and received "Best Paper Award".
Mr. L. George, Asst. Prof. Mr. G. Lalith Raj, Mr. S. Vinu Balan, III BBA., Department of Business Administration, Loyola College of Arts and Science, Mettala, published their paper on "People Perception about LGBT People with Special Reference to Salem and Namakkal District". Their presentation was highly commented.
Mr. A. Saravanan, Asst. Prof. Mr. S. Simson, Mr. P. Tena, III BBA., Department of Business Administration, Loyola College of Arts and Science, Mettala, published their paper on "Student's Perception towards Investment in Crypto Currency with reference to Tamilnadu". Their presentation was highly commented.
Mr. A. Vijayakumar, Asst. Prof. Ms. R. Jayashree, Ms. N. Deepika, III BBA., Department of Business Administration, Loyola College of Arts and Science, Mettala, published their paper on "Investor's Perception towards Investment in IPO: An Empirical Study". Their presentation was highly commented.
It was observed that students actively participated and were confident while presenting in the International conference at Coimbatore in front faculty members, Research scholars and the students of various colleges from other region.
9. On 3rd February 2024, the Department of Business Administration staffs were conducted one day placement training to all the final year students of Loyola College of Arts and Science. Mr. B. Berchmans, Mr. L. George, Mr. A. Saravanan, and Mr. A. Vijayakumar handled the sessions.
10. On 9th February 2024, our BBA students participated in "NAAN MUDHALVAN PLACEMENT DRIVE - 2024" held at "Namakkal Kavignar Ramalingam Government Arts College for Women", Namakkal. In this placement drive Ms. S. Janani and Ms. R. Jayashree of our III BBA students got selected in "Sureti Insurance Marketing Private Limited, Coimbatore" with a package of 3LPA.
11. On 9th February 2024, our BBA students participated in "BIZCOM BAZZAR - 2024" an inter college quiz competition. In that competition our BBA students secured 3rd place.
12. On 29th February 2024, The Department of Business Administration was conducting "Treasure Hunt" to all the final year students of our college. The final year students from all Departments were actively participated.
13. On 01st March 2024, our BBA students participated in dance completion Confluenza - 2K24 at Nehru Institute of Technology, Coimbatore.
