The objective of the Campus Ministry at Loyola College, Mettala, is to nurture the spiritual, moral, and social well-being of students and staff. It aims to promote Christian values, foster interfaith understanding, and provide a space for both Catholic and non-Catholic students to grow in faith, participate in communal activities, and engage in charitable work.
To build a vibrant, inclusive, and spiritually enriching community that nurtures the holistic development of every individual grounded in the values of love, compassion, and service. The ministry strives to make every student and staff member feel welcomed and valued, irrespective of their faith backgrounds, fostering unity through shared experiences and celebrations.
The mission is to create a faith-filled environment where spiritual growth and academic excellence go hand in hand. This includes:
- Providing opportunities for prayer and reflection.
- Conducting faith-building activities for both Catholic and non-Catholic students.
- Promoting social responsibility through outreach and community service.
- Organizing celebrations of key religious feasts and events to strengthen spiritual ties.
- Offering retreats, motivational talks, and faith-based guidance to encourage moral and ethical living.
